Issue of licences for the organisation of street trade during Christmas

Riga City Neighborhood Population Centre, if it has full information and documents at its disposal within 5 working days from the date of receipt of the last necessary document, shall issue a permit for the organisation of street trade during Christmas or take a decision regarding the refusal to issue a permit for the organisation of street commerce during Christmas. A trading participant does not have to submit the referred to submission if the relevant trading participant is included in the list of trade participants attached to the submission during Christmas, and the local government has issued a permit for the organisation of street trade during Christmas. In cases where street trade is subject to payment of the local government fee for trade in public places, street marketing permits shall be issued after payment of the referred to fee. If a street marketing permit is required more quickly than within 5 working days from the date of payment, the original of the payment document approved by the paying bank must be presented in the city of Riga's Neighborhood Centre and a copy thereof must be submitted.
