The Riga Energy Agency is competent in all energy efficiency fields, offering advice to other stakeholders. The scope of the consultation depends on the actual need and detail. On request, organise training for companies or other local government employees in the fields of competence of the Riga Energy Agency. The service includes both remote and online training, including practical training facilities. On request, the Agency shall draw up a training programme and evaluate the necessary hours for training, including presentation.
For large companies and large consumers over 500 MWh/year, an energy management system or a mandatory energy audit is in place. Energy management continuously needs to improve knowledge, as well as the energy audit often highlights the training of workers. The consultations shall include both oral information and the preparation of solutions in the form of a report. The service is provided free of charge to Riga residents and the municipal authorities, departments and capital companies of Riga.

Process description

  1. Service requests
    The service may be requested in person, electronically or by post.
    When requesting a service in person, the customer refers to the Riga Municipal Agency, where there is a possibility to apply for the time of the consultation.
    When requesting a service electronically, the client shall submit a submission, which has been prepared in conformity with the regulatory enactments regarding the drawing up of electronic documents, certified with a secure electronic signature, time stamp and if other necessary documents are available, which are related to the nature of the service provided.
    When requesting a service by post, the client shall submit an application specifying his or her contact details and content content for the purpose of the consultation and, if any, other necessary documents related to the nature of the service provided

  2. A service charge
    At an hourly rate of 30/h and the issued invoice.

  3. Receipt of services
    The service may be received in person, electronically or by post.
    In agreement with the employees of the Riga Municipal Agency, the customer receives a consultation regarding the available times, the duration is determined individually.
    When electronically receiving services, a service consultation is organised in the MS TEAM programme by agreeing to:
    time, sending a link to the customer to the specified e-mail address. The service is electronically sent by the customer
    a submission prepared in conformity with the regulatory enactments regarding the drawing up of electronic documents,
    certified by a secure electronic signature, time stamp and if other necessary documents are available which are related to the nature of the service provided.
    When requesting a service by mail, the customer may receive it electronically or in person
