With the support of the co-financing programme implemented by the Riga Entrepreneurs' Support Contact Point, a city snow park will be created for one day on Saturday, 7 February, in the courtyard of the creative factory "Veldze" at 8 Matīsa Street in Riga. During the event Backdoor Market Snow Day, the area will be transformed into a meeting point for winter sports and urban culture with a spectacular snow structure in the city centre.
The event will feature snowboarding and freestyle skiing activities in a competitive format, bringing together both athletes and spectators. The athletes' performances will be judged on complexity, technique and style, offering a dynamic and visually spectacular experience for spectators. During the day, visitors can expect not only competitions, but also DJ performances, a street food zone and an evening party at the Backdoor Market.
