On Saturday, September 12th, the annual "Night Ride" will take place in the streets of the capital Riga, inviting everyone who is ready to enjoy the joy of sports on roller skates, skateboard or scooter in the four-kilometre-long route on Krasta Street.

Also, this year, the centre of the event will be located next to the shopping centre "Mols". The route will be opened at 23.00 and everyone will be able to start the ride and take one or more laps until the track closes at 01.00. Due to the distance requirements set by the country, there will be no joint start, so everyone who wants to participate in the "Night Ride" can come and start the ride at a time that suits them.

There is no pre-registration for the event. Participants of the event who will need the equipment will have possibility to rent it from 22.00. Roller skates and scooters will be available for rent.

The DJs will take care of the energetic atmosphere in the centre of the event, as well as in several stages of the route, so positive emotions on the evening of September 12th is guaranteed for everyone who has chosen the "Night Ride" as their holiday destination. At the end of the ride, participants will have the opportunity to warm up with tea and a great atmosphere. Also, at a special "Night Journey" photo wall, participants will be able to capture their best looks.

In order to ensure more comfortable participation in the "Night Ride", there will be a luggage storage at the shopping centre "Mols", which will be open until the end of the event at 01.00.

Also during the "Night Ride" the requirements of the Cabinet of Ministers regarding the organization of public events will be observed, therefore the number of participants in the event will be limited, which will not exceed 3000 people and it will be controlled at the entrance to the event. The organizers of the event also invite the participants to assess their health condition and, in case of feeling unwell, not to attend the event.

The "Night Ride" is organized by "Baltic Events" and supported by the Department of Education, Culture and Sports of the Riga City Council.
