Process description
Service requests
A person may submit an application in person, send it by post or send an application to e-mail, which has been prepared in conformity with the requirements of the regulatory enactments regarding the drawing up of electronic documents, certified with a secure electronic signature.
Receipt of services documents required:
1) an application with a request regarding the transfer of immovable property for free use, in which the justification for the necessity of the use of immovable property is indicated, as well as the name, registration number, correspondence address, if different from the legal address, contact information
(telephone number or e-mail address);
2) a copy of the authorisation (presenting the original), if the application is submitted by a person authorised by the legal person.
On-site, the service is provided unless the parties have agreed to be accepted remotely (using one of the available online communication tools (Skype, Microsoft Teams, etc.)).
In cases where you need to limit or stop visitor recruitment, visitors are accepted remotely (using one of the available online communication tools (Skype, Microsoft Teams, etc.)).
In exceptional cases, where the issue cannot be resolved remotely, by allowing the arrival of visitors on site, the service may be provided on site at the Department of Personality's Customer Service Centre on Knights Street 10, Riga, only after a previous entry by phone number +37167026138 or +37167026151, or by specialists, assessing the urgency of providing it in each situation on an individual basis.

A person may receive service execution documents in person or in the mail.
In cases where signature of the acceptance - transfer act is not required, the contract may be signed with a secure electronic signature as a service execution document.

the document shall be sent to the person at the email address specified by the document.
A service execution document shall be sent to the person at the mail address specified in the application.
