Process description

1. Service requests
   The service may be requested in person or electronically.
   When requesting a service in person, the client shall turn to the City Development Department of Riga City Council, leaving the documents in a specially designed filing cabinet.
   When requesting a service electronically, the client shall submit an application prepared in accordance with the regulatory enactments
   for acts on the drawing up of electronic documents, certified by a secure electronic signature and time
   a stamp. For construction cases initiated after 31.12.2019. the service may be requested in the Construction Information System (BIS). Receipt of services documents required:
   - “Confirmation of the ready for operation or demolition of the building (form No. Da_136_v1) ';
   - “Confirmation of demolition of the building (form No. Da_137_v1) ';
   - Explanatory Memorandum (demolition of building) (form No. Da_147_v1) ';
   - Explanatory Memorandum (Construction/demolition) (Form No. Da_153_v1) ', including adding documents in conformity with the requirements of the regulatory enactments regulating construction and a payment document attesting the payment of the local government fee for the absence of a statement regarding the nature of the building/building.

2. A service charge
   According to the binding regulation No 178 of the Riga City Council on the receipt of official documents drafted by the City Development Department of Riga City Council 16.06.2009, the payment of a statement regarding the absence of a building/building in nature must be paid: EUR 32,73 for individuals, EUR 46,95 for legal persons.

3. Receipt of services
   Part II of the Explanatory Memorandum, which marks the completion of the works, may be obtained on site
   In the City Development Department of Riga City Council, Dzirnavu Street 140, Riga, presenting a personal identification document (authorised person - mandate) or electronically in the Construction Information System (BIS).
   Electronically signed statement regarding the absence of a building/building in nature shall be sent to the customer's submission
   e-mail or Construction Information System (BIS).
   
   Documents can be received on Tuesday from 9.00 to 13.00, on Thursdays from 13.00
   up to 17.00. In order to request receipt of documents, a previous record must be made by calling the Call Centre of the City Development Department of Riga City Council by telephone: 67105800.
