Process description

Request for Service
by e-mail – by sending an electronically signed submission or request for information without an electronic signature to an e-mail pip@riga.lv, if the taxpayer has provided consent for electronic communication with the Finance Department of Riga State capital local Government (hereinafter - Department) by e-mail;

e-address - by sending an application to the Department from your e-address account; • in the portal www.epakalpojumi.lv - by sending a request for information using the service “Report to local government”;

by telephone – requesting information via Riga information telephone +37180001201, +37167012222, if the taxpayer has registered the official electronic address or has given consent to electronic communication with the department via e-mail;

by post – by sending an application to the Department, address: Terezes Street 5, Riga, LV-1012;

face-to-face – by submitting an application (face-to-face customer service in the department takes place after prior registration by telephone +37180001201);

Service requests documents required:

A certified statement or information letter prepared for receipt of a service
may be received:
• to an e-address if an official electronic address account has been created for the taxpayer;
• e-mail if the taxpayer has given consent to electronic communication with the Department by e-mail;
• by post to the address indicated by the taxpayer, his or her legal representative or authorised person;
• face-to-face in the department on Theresa Street 5, Riga (face-to-face customer service takes place after prior registration by telephone +37180001201).

Upon arrival in person, the taxpayer will have to present a personal identification document, the legal representative or authorised person of the taxpayer will also have an authorisation or other document that gives the right to represent the taxpayer.
