The service provides an opportunity to participate in the collection of signatures on voter initiatives, organised pursuant to the Law on the Votes of the People, Law Initiation and the European Citizens' Initiative. Subscription for voter initiatives registered in the Central Election Commission may take 12 months from registration of the initiative to the Central Election Commission. Each voter's signature must be certified by a sworn notary within this 12-month period, at the place of declaration of residence in the local government, in the Orphan's Court, which performs notarial activities, shall be managed by the head of the parish or city administration or in diplomatic and consular missions of the Republic of Latvia in foreign states by a consular official who is entitled to perform notarial functions.

The voter's signature can be confirmed in the city city city of Riga at the centre of residents, presenting a personal identification document.
Receipt of services
The service is received on site. Certified signatures shall be collected on a sample form approved by the Central Election Commission. The person who certifies the signature shall, in accordance with the procedures specified by the Central Election Commission, keep the information regarding the subscription in the online system of collection of the signatures of the Central Election Commission.
