Information
In order to establish and commence the activities of the second or third category shooting range in the administrative territory of the municipality of Riga State, it is necessary to obtain the permission of the municipality of Riga.Service requests
In order to receive a permit for the establishment and operation of a second or third category shooting range, an application shall be submitted to the municipality of Riga State city, in which the following information shall be included:
1. for the legal person, the name and uniform registration number of the legal person, contact details - legal address, telephone number, e-mail address;
2. for a natural person - given name, surname and personal identity number (or date of birth, if the personal identity number has not been assigned), contact details - address, telephone number, e-mail address;
3. the address at which the shooting range is intended;
4. information on the desired category of shooting;
5. information regarding the conformity of the shooting gallery with the requirements referred to in Chapter II of Regulation 28.07.202020202020No 494, “Regulations for the establishment and operation of shooting and shooting sports competitions”;
6. Information on the demarcation of the open shooting range, the placement of warning signs and other similar
measures to prevent people, animals and vehicles from entering the danger zone;
7. information regarding the time of use of the shooting range (working time);
8. type of authorisation: in paper form or in the form of an electronic document.
The following documents shall be appended:
1. the plans of the open or semi-closed shooting range on a visually visible scale (M 1:50 0; M 1:10 00) marking all the boundaries of the danger zone of the open or semi-closed shooting range;
2. a closed shooting range plan on a visually visible scale (M 1:50 or 1:10 0) marking the spaces used for closed shooting purposes;
3. the by-law of the shooting range. The by-law shall specify:
3.1. working time;
3.2. the procedures for registration and briefing of visitors;
3.3. the safety regulations considered in the shooting range;
3.4. procedures for the provision of first aid;
3.5. the duties of shooting officers;
4. other documents deemed necessary by the natural or legal person.Receipt of services
