The exhibition "Fragile Power" is a tribute to Taisija Poluikeviča's personality and diverse creative activity, her contribution to the design of the products of the Riga Porcelain Factory and her contribution to the study of the history of Riga porcelain.

Made by Poluikeviča (1937-2002) was one of the leading designers of the Riga Porcelain Factory, specializing in the development of shapes, creating original author forms and paintings. The exhibition "Fragile Power" features many of the consumer services "Marijka", "Summer", "Anita", "Ija", "Evening", "Karīna", "Spīdola" and others, which were once popular and still recognizable today, as well as a wide variety of dishes, individual items and souvenirs created since the 20th century. the early 1960s until the end of the 1980s.

In the design developed for production, Taisā Poluikevičs was able to combine functional and artistic – the shapes were simplified and practical, well suited for production technology and use, however, her individual handwriting was recognizable in them. The most visually magnificent part of the exhibition is the artist's works, in which her creativity is most vividly revealed – in servises, plates and vases, the plasticity of forms is combined with openwork details, the use of chandeliers, gold and cobalt, as well as virtuoso paintings.

She received her artistic education at the Ceramics Department of Riga Secondary School of Applied Arts, which she graduated in 1957. Her course members were later well-known ceramicists Valdis de Cūrs, Izabella Krolle, Violeta Jātniece, Skaidrīte Cihovska, Maiga Dimza-Dimme, Kaiva Elliņa. In 1957, Taisja Poluikeviča started working in the Riga porcelain and faience factory as a sculptor, in 1960 she was transferred to the factory's artistic laboratory, and the stage of independent creative work begins.

The diploma paper developed by Poluikeviča in 1969 laid the foundations for the interpretation of the history of Latvian porcelain and faience, in the 70s and 80s she wrote a lot about the history of Riga porcelain, the current production and creative process and authors. In the early 1970s, Poluikeviča became the head of the Riga Porcelain Factory Museum. In 1988, due to illness, he stopped working at the Riga Porcelain Factory.
