"Share, grow creatively and explore Riga's right bank!" On 10 August, from 12.p.m to 11 p.m., Riga's residents and visitors are invited to a varied and exciting programme of festivities in the renovated Dauderi Park to celebrate the city's Right Bank Festival.
The broad holiday program and activity offer will allow visitors to choose the most suitable for themselves, open their mind and heart to new challenges, discoveries and adventures.
The programme includes a variety of creative and educational events - cultural talks and excursions in cooperation with the Dauderi Department of the National History Museum of Latvia, concerts, performances, sports activities and much more.
DJ Makree and event host Kaspars Ozoliņš will provide a pleasant and energetic atmosphere in Dauderi Park throughout the day, the rhythm band "Pulsa efekts" will perform with a special performance created for this festival, athletes from the "Greentrials" team will entertain visitors with an exciting bike show, Rolands Bartaševičs and the "Zumba Dance Family" will guarantee joy and positive emotions for everyone who wants to dance, but already from 2 p.m. popular Latvian groups and musicians will perform in stage until the end of the festival. “Papīra lidmašīnas”, Patrisha, “Olas”, “Cut In Half”, “Jussendo”, Ozols, “Kautkaili” and “Astro’n’out”.
Educational activities of Dauderi Park and the Dauderi Department of the National History Museum of Latvia will take place from 12. p.m. to 7 p.m. The Dauderi Department of the Latvian National Museum of History will offer various interesting and educational activities for the most enthusiastic visitors of the Right bank festival - photo orientation for children and adults "Find me in the Dauderi Museum!" and "Find me in the Dauderi Garden!", at 12 p.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. there will be thematic guided tours of the Dauderi Museum exhibition and garden. Children and adults will also be able to take part in creative masterclasses led by museum staff - "Know, Guess, Paint" and "Dauderi House in Summer Colours".
On the day of the event, you can visit the museum - the late 19th-century building, its ornate interior and the museum's exhibition - for free. A romantic photo corner will be available in the garden, and nice picnic and rest spots will also be available in the museum garden throughout the day. The Dauderi Garden will not only host the photo exhibition "Kārlis Ulmanis relaxing in Dauderi Garden", but also two retro cars - the Antique automobile club in cooperation with the Riga Motor Museum will present two unique cars from the late 1930s.
In the Riga Porcelain Museum’s workshop "Festive Cookbook", which is designed as an interactive game, every visitor of the Good Coast Festival, regardless of age, experience and previous preparation, will be able to prepare their own "festive food" from various ceramic masses, glazes of different colours and other ceramic raw materials.
For the opening of the Right Bank Festival, the band "Pulsa efekts", inspired by ancient folk rhythms, has prepared a special performance combining drum rhythms and contemporary dance. The ensemble will include drum masters Dzintars Vīksna and Matīss Akuraters, contemporary dance artists Gints Dancītis and Aigars Larionovs. During the day, event visitors will have the opportunity to participate in drum master classes led by Dzintars Vīksna.
In the Dauderi Park cycling area, the GreenTrials team, which is involved in extreme cycling on a daily basis, will have a cycling show and demonstrations. The team brings together the best and most recognisable riders from the Baltics. After the show, educational demonstrations will be held in the bicycle area, where children and young people will be able to learn about the specifics, safety and necessary equipment of this sport.
During the class of Rolands Bartasevičs and "Zumba Dance Family" on the lawn of Dauderi Park, big and small dancers, with or without experience, will be invited to move, combining dance steps and choreography elements, getting to know different dance styles accompanied by diverse music, while improving body coordination and learning new movements, guaranteeing fun, joy and positive emotions for everyone who wants to dance!
The Dauderi Department of the Latvian National Museum of History will offer a photo orientation for children and adults "Find me at the Dauderi Museum!" and "Find me in the Dauderi Garden!", as well as creative masterclasses led by the museum staff - "Clever Museum Riddles", "Know, Guess, Paint" and others.
On the other hand, the smallest festival visitors together with their parents will be invited to participate in entertaining ingenuity games together with the creative association "Pasaku nams".
Those interested will have the opportunity to test and improve their skills in FPV (first person view) drone piloting in a virtual environment in the "Drone School" minibus of the "Tev" association, which will be located at the main entrance of Dauderi Park.
Outside Dauderi Park and the Museum, a photo orienteering competition will take place in the Sarkandaugava neighbourhood. During the 3-hour photo orienteering, teams of participants will have to visit 40 checkpoints and complete additional creative challenges.
Entrance to the Riga Right Bank Festival is free of charge.
Catering and refreshments will be available in the park for the convenience of visitors.

The event is organized by the Association of Cultural Institutions of the Riga Municipality with the support of the Riga Municipality.
For those who cannot attend the event in person, a live broadcast from Dauderi Park will also be provided. The Right Bank Festival will be streamed live on the municipality's Facebook account "Rīga".
