Edvīns Balševics, Head of the Interim Administration of Riga City Municipality, and Aleksejs Remesovs, Member of the Interim Administration of Riga City Municipality, will receive Frank Imhoff, President of the Bremen Parliament, and an accompanying delegation. The delegation arrives in Riga to celebrate the 35th anniversary of cooperation and twinning between Riga and Bremen and is the first foreign delegation to be received in the Riga City Council after the facilitation of coronavirus control measures.
This is the first official visit of the President of the Bremen Parliament to Riga, during which, in addition to the official meetings, a visit to the innovation quarter VEFRESH, a visit to the House of the Blackheads and a visit to the Bikernieki Memorial will take place.
