Aldaru street and its adjacent alleyways and courtyards will also be filled with a festive atmosphere this autumn. on September 19, from noon 11.00 to 23.00 The historical Aldaru street of old Riga invites everyone to enjoy a diverse festive program, which will not lack music, food, entertainment opportunities and a happy time together. The event was created with the support of the Riga City Council.
Throughout the day, visitors will enjoy performances by local musicians, a market for home producers and craftsmen, various activities, competitions and other surprises. Xantikvarāts, Buckte and Athodi in Wonderland will perform on the Aldaru Street stage at the Swedish Gate, while the full line-up of artists is still being supplemented. Visitors are greeted by a diverse musical program and several special surprises.
Parallel to the stage program, one of the side streets on Aldaru Street will transform into an open-air dance floor. At the special “Silent Disco” party, everyone is invited to dance to lusty music rhythms and indulge in a festive atmosphere. Outdoor bars will take care of drinks and festive atmosphere throughout the day, which will be created by the event organizers - “Ezītis miglā”, “garāža” and “FOB”.
We invite you to go to the old Town on September 19th and enjoy the festival program on Aldaru Street. On the same day, the “old Town Festival. summer” will also take place in the old Town, so visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy various events and activities throughout the territory of the old Town.
The event is organized with the support of the Riga Business support Contact point (RUAK) co-financing program, which is intended for trade associations to organize public events in the historical center of Riga and its protection zone.
