Riga in the World
The experience of other countries helps in creating the image of Riga as a place that is pleasant to live, work and relax in. The cooperation and exchange of experience with other cities is organised and coordinated by the Riga City Council Foreign Affairs Department.
Riga has 29 sister cities on five continents. Agreements concluded with the sister cities serve as a basis for cooperation in such fields as culture and education, communication and city development, health and environmental protection.
