City Property Committee
The competence of City Property Issues Committee includes:
- the alienation, renting, privatisation, mortgaging, acquiring in property of the real estate of the municipality, as well as alienation and privatisation of the share belonging to the municipality in capital companies, establishment, reorganization and liquidation of capital companies.
City Property Committee supervises Riga City Council Property Department and Riga Municipality Residential Houses Privatisation Commission.
City Property Committee:
- assesses the use of municipality property;
- assesses the representation of the municipality interests in the capital companies with the municipality capital share.
Pursuant to decision No 6 of Riga City Council of July 7, 2009, the number of councillors working on the City Property Committee may not exceed 16.
The sessions of the committee take place on Mondays at 10:00 a.m. in room No 121.
